Summary: We arrived late and the employee was very nice and helpful. Our room smelled heavily of marijuana and pizza. I had to check the room thinking someone was in there already. There wasn't. We pushed through a decided to just go with it due to how tired and late it was. I went to get ice and when I came back my wife had found the carpet by the AC was soaked. We decided to pack up and ask for another room. When we passed the bathroom in the room there was a large grasshopper, alive on the floor. The employee was great and without hesitation gave us an upgraded room at no extra cost. The next day we found everywhere we went in the hotel had a foul odor. They used scent machines to pump perfume smells but it only mixed with the stink. A lot of times the smell was of marijuana. We had to do laundry and the room had a heavy odor of marijuana as well. Being in there gave us a headache. Our new room smelled fine and had no issues. The hallways and lobby really smelled bad. The breakfast was really basic with no hot items and vanilla yogurt and hard boiled eggs were the only source of protien. This seems more common now a days. We will not stay here again due to the odor.
