Summary: Michaela and her family were the most welcoming hosts. The apartment is located in the family farm compound and we got to interact with all of the friendly family members (including the animals!). Our 3 year old daughter loved the barn cats, the cows, sheep and bunnies. The setting couldn't have been more idyllic. The apartment itself is newly renovated and was very clean. The renovations were done by the family and the craftsmanship is beautiful. The only unexpected component was that one bedroom was located on the lower level, seperate from the 'main' apartment. Oma and opa stayed down there and it was a bit cold if they didn't keep the wood stove running. But the main apartment stayed warm without the wood stove in 15-20 degree temps! We really could not have asked for a better accommodation though. It was a pity we didn't spend more time to exploring the farm and getting to know the family. Would highly recommend!
