Positive: Steewer Landhaus was a perfect country getaway. The hosts really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, warm and cozy and their communication was outstanding. The location is on the outskirts of the very small town, which means nights are utterly quiet, and on a slight rise, so that there is a beautiful view across woods and fields. There are many forest walks accessible from the property and there are some shops (bakery, pharmacy, post) available in the next village, or supermarkets and other shops a short drive away in Dierdorf. The house is quite new, well designed and insulated with heated flooring. It comfortably accommodated our family of 5, with 3 double rooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The decor throughout was superb, including lovely artwork and crafts and live plants. We were even treated to a lit Christmas tree and a large tropical fish tank! The kitchen had absolutely everything needed to create complete meals and, importantly, clean up after ourselves. And we were left some lovely fresh welcome treats. There was a separate laundry with washer, drying lines and ironing facilities, and some umbrellas in the entry wardrobe for our walks in drizzle and snow. The kids of course want me to mention the huge, comfortable couch, and fast, reliable Wifi and streaming services on a large TV. A truly wonderful experience and we can't wait to return! Thank you 😊 ❤️
