Positive: The reviews mention how family-friendly this place was: yes! It was great to have a host family, who were warm and responsive (especially great, because our train was delayed two hours!). The apartment was stocked with toys and games as well as brochures and maps for exploring Schwarzwald.

Negative: Plumbing in the shower a bit fiddly.
