Our vacation apartment C24 "Mary Poppins" is a 32 sqm one-bedroom apartment in the attic of our vacation house with a total of four vacation apartments. The apartment is furnished in Scandinavian style. It is bright and cozy and was renovated and refurnished in 2022. The living room and bedroom is equipped with a 140 cm wide double bed (one mattress) including inlets. The bed is equipped with spacious drawers that provide plenty of storage space. Also in this room is a comfortable sofa with a side table, a dining table with two chairs, a dresser with plenty of storage space, a smart TV, a clothes horse, and a couple of nice lamps for indirect cozy lighting. A large window front with a door opening the way to the private balcony lets a lot of light into the living room and bedroom. In addition, all the windows of the living room and bedroom are equipped with blinds that darken and insulate. The large light-filled country-style kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster, in addition to an oven, cooktop, and refrigerator. The large and bright bathroom has a shower and holds enough storage space. In the basement of the apartment, there is a barbecue, an umbrella, a baby travel cot, a high chair, sand toys, and a stroller.
A highlight of our vacation apartment "Mary Poppins" is its own balcony. The balcony is equipped with a table and two chairs. From the balcony, the view opens into the garden of the vacation home. Behind it are paddocks, forests, and a hilly landscape behind which the golden reeds and the sea can already be guessed. In the evening the wind rustles through the leaves of the many trees, bushes, and shrubs that surround the cottage. The balcony is partially embedded in the roof truss of the cottage, which provides pleasant weather and privacy protection. The garden has a swing and can be shared by the guests of our vacation home. In addition, the vacation home has its own parking space.

Our vacation apartment "Mary Poppins" C24 is located in Gustow in the southeast of the island of Rügen. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund can be reached by car in about 10 minutes and offers numerous and varied shopping opportunities, a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, a cinema, and several museums, including the Oceanographic Museum Ozeaneum. A natural beach, surrounded by reed beds, is a 20-minute walk away. A bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, drugstore, and a bank can be found either in Stralsund or in Garz, which is a 15-minute drive from Gustow and is the oldest village on the island. In the natural harbor of Gustow, which is about 20-minute walk from the apartments, there is a small bistro with a sun terrace and the possibility to rent a small motorboat for a fishing trip or a trip on the water. Also, about 20 minutes walk from our apartments is the hotel and manor house Kajahn. The Kajahn family has been managing the farm and the surrounding land for many years and offers its guests, besides game specialties, cakes, and ice cream, many animals but especially horses, and the possibility of a trial riding lesson or a ride. In Gustow's neighboring village Poseritz there is a dairy where you can stock up on fresh and homemade dairy products, eggs, and jams and also stop for coffee and cake. The beach resorts Sellin, Baabe, Binz, Prora, and Sassnitz and the Jasmund National Park with the Königsstuhl can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by car.
