This comfortable holiday flat in a wooded area for 2 to 4 people is located directly on the traditional Marsfeld. This is where Hans Grade, the first German motorised flight pioneer, flew his circles, built aeroplanes and trained pilots. Today, only a few buildings and a museum bear witness to Grade's work. The old Mars Field was generously parcelled out in the 1920s and has given way to residential development. The flat is centrally located in Borkheide, approx. 500 metres from the train station (RE7).

Shopping facilities (two supermarkets, bakery, butcher) and restaurants are available in the village. The R1 European cycle route runs through the village. The European Cycle Route runs over 3,600 kilometres from Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais in France to St. Petersburg in Russia. From mid-May to mid-September, the Borkheide forest pool, a chemical-free natural pool, invites you to relax.
