Welcome to our "Möwennest" holiday apartment on the mezzanine floor of "Haus Kiel" in the Schönberg / Holm holiday center.
From here it is only a few minutes' walk through the salt marshes to the beach of the Baltic Sea resort of California. Here, miles of fine sandy beaches invite you to sunbathe for long walks or bike tours on paths along the Baltic Sea. And the rustic hinterland can also be explored by bike. Idyllic farm cafes await your visit here as well as numerous direct marketers who offer their harvest fresh from the farm. Bicycles brought along can be connected in the bike rack in front of the house. If you want to arrive without your own bicycles, there is of course the possibility to rent them on site.
The 33 m² apartment is accessible with the elevator or via the staircase. The combined living room / bedroom was renovated in 2019 and lovingly and individually furnished. The apartment has a fully glazed loggia on the east side and is ideal for one or two holiday guests. Nevertheless, max. three people feel good, since the existing sofa bed can be easily converted into a comfortable bed with a 160 cm x 200 cm lying surface. The modern kitchenette in the entrance area is equipped with a 2-burner hob, microwave, refrigerator and a small freezer compartment and holds all the necessary kitchen utensils that you need to take care of yourself on vacation.

The Holmer Marktplatz is only 50 m away from the apartment. Here in the summer months u. a. a bakery is open and events such as dance evenings and flea markets provide variety. Connected to the apartment complex are an adventure mini golf course, a Greek restaurant, a sky sports bar and a bistro. Seating groups in the spacious entrance area of the house provide space for encounters and give the complex a hotel character. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee in a common room of the house. You will find sufficient parking space directly in front of or next to the house. Or maybe the connection to the nearby Baltic Sea Clinic is of interest to you. Here you can benefit from the local offer and enjoy spa treatments, book outpatient therapies or just live nearby as an accompanying person of a hospital guest.
A small supermarket in the California district offers shopping opportunities during the season. There are further shopping opportunities in Schönberg, about 4 km away. A weekly market and smaller shops invite you to stroll here. For owners of the Ostseecard, Schönberg can be reached easily and free of charge by bus during the period subject to the city tax. Or use the well-developed bus network and head towards Laboe and visit the seawater swimming pool, naval memorial and submarine. Bus stops are in the immediate vicinity of the house.
