Positive: In Manderscheid this is the only proper hotel as far as I know. The village has got a great advantage: it's s great and strategic spot to discover the Eifel region, it's forests, landscapes and vulcanic history. This hotel is basic, it offers everything including irs strategic location, in a village with a supermarket, a couple of good restaurants, a great beer pub, a great wine bar, and two exceptionsl fortresses. And everything else within about 40km. Don't ask for or expect luxury stuff, go for a good basic commodity, on a strategic spot, and thid is the one.
