Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very clean, quiet & well appointed. Handy to activities in and around the Starnberg area. The. Breakfast was excellent and the host and staff friendly & helpful. The room was an excellent size for two people, included a fridge and coffee making facilities.

Negative: Some guests may struggle carrying heavy bags up the stairs, but, the staff were happy to help as required, so it was not really an issue. For me, ambient outside light ‘block out’ curtains on the street side (street lights) would help as I personally have trouble sleeping in a light room. Again, this could be resolved by asking for a room on a side not fronting the street, or in my case, I could have asked for a different room but didn’t as it is winter and the ambient light not too bad.

Summary: Overall, a relaxing few days to get over the jet lag from a long trip to Germany.
