Positive: We enjoyed our stay in Ellenz-Poltersdorf. Host was welcoming and flexible. The apartment complex is located very close to the Moselle. We could see some of the river and its boat traffic from our outdoor table. They are a wine making family and their wine is available for purchase. There is no bakery in the village but our host was happy to add our bread order to her order. The bread was left at our front door each morning – a lovely service. The apartment in which we stayed #1 is simple and comfortable with good wifi and plenty of hot water. It was one of the cleanest apartments we have stayed in. Make sure you take the 5 minute ferry (summer season only) to gorgeous, medieval Beilstein. The ferry departs just 10 minutes walk away from the apartment.
