Two bedrooms, two bathrooms plus one guest WC, a cozy sitting room, and lots of outdoor space!
A short drive to Basel airport, and only an hour to Zurich airport!
Fantastic spot for hiking and relaxing, 20 minutes to Badenweiler and its hot springs, but also close to Basel for Art Basel and the jewelry fair. Completely secluded!!

Summary: Without going into details, we missed our flight and ended up driving from UK to Black Forest and arrived at midnight... So, if you are thinking of staying in this area and are concerned about driving (at least from Basel airport) don't be! I didn't have any issues (other than being tired...) The property is in a beautiful location with walks available from the front door. The local wildlife is lovely to behold - deer freely roaming, birds-of-prey soaring overhead. The house itself is wonderful and full of character. There is a spacious veranda/decking area (with hammock!) to relax and enjoy the view. Even when the thunderstorms inevitably roll in, there are awnings that cover the veranda so you can stay comfortable and dry whilst watching the storms. This was our first visit to Germany and The Black Forest and we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend the area and this property especially.
