The apartment is located in the Edertaler district Mehlen and is about 900 meters from the entrance to the National Park. In 650 m distance is the Ederauenradweg with a 180 km long network, the Eder flows through the village and invites you to canoeing or gold panning. Directly on the Eder is the campsite "Ideal" with a cozy snack station and beer garden. A canoe rental is in the neighboring village (1.4 km), the "Goldwelten" claim is 600 meters away. An electric bike rental is also located in the village. The Edersee with its numerous leisure offers is about 5.8 km away. Grocery store is 2.6 km, petrol station with bread service 1.6 km, butcher 3.2 km, bakery 2.8 km, Outletstore Trigema 1 km and the nearest town, Bad Wildungen with numerous shops, restaurants and Europe's largest spa park, is 7 km away. We run a hobby alpaca breeding and our small herd is located directly at the house. However, one gets used to curious glances from big eyes and quickly realizes why these quiet and exuberant animals are used for therapeutic purposes. We are in the Association of German Alpaca breeders under the herd name: "Alpacas in the fog" registered (hence the name of the apartment). Please note that this is not a holiday on a alpaca farm !!!We do not offer walks or any activities with our alpacas. Please note our reduced weekly rates!

The apartment for up to 6 people has its own entrance, patio with seating and parking space. A barbecue is available in the patio. The 110 m² living space are divided on 2 floors (entrance area on the ground floor all other rooms in the 1st. OG). In the spacious entrance area there is the possibility to park bicycles or prams. In the 1. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, the living-dining area with open kitchen and the bathroom. The apartment is equipped with a large living area which offers two more beds, satellite TV and a pellet stove and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, Senseo, microwave and toaster. The two bedrooms are equipped with a double bed 180x200 cm and a double bed 160x200 cm, as well as wardrobes and storage space. They therefore offer enough space for families. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer. The sofa in the living room can be used as additional sleeping space and has a lying area of 1.50 mx 2.45 m. Bed linen, towels, tea towels, soap, dish soap and detergent tablets are included in the price. Free wifi is available throughout the apartment.
Arrivals are possible from 15:00 to 22:00 and departures from 00:00 to 10:00.
