Das Haus besteht seit mindestens 1790 und wurde 2017 kernsaniert & komplett neu renoviert. Die alten Balken wurden schwarzwaldtypisch in den Zimmern -soweit als möglich- teilweise sichtbar erhalten. Zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 1,5 km. Die Bushaltestelle sowie Bäcker/Metzgerei sind nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Schnell-Imbiss, Post-Agentur, DM, Aldi und Edeka im Ort. Die evangelische Kirche ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Im Sommer ist das schöne Wald-Freibad (langes Schwimmbecken) geöffnet. Aktivitäten in Wildbad: z.B.: Palais Thermal. Mit der Sommerbergbahn geht es zum Baumwipfelpfad Schwarzwald und der Hängebrücke WildLine usw. Mit der S-Bahn (Bahnhof Calmbach) sind Sie –ohne Parkplatzsuche– in nur ca.4 Minuten direkt im Zentrum von Bad Wildbad. -> mit der "KONUS-/Gästekarte": Bus- und Bahnfahren im KONUS-Gebiet (Schwarzwald) kostenlos nutzbar, Ermäßigungen bei bestimmten Veranstaltungen/Museum/Schwimmbad möglich!
